If you look, you will see

Mother's Day we packed lunches and went to the canal-side park. Kaitlin pointed out the nature: sunning turtles, a bullfrog in the mud, a snapper's nose just above the water. We crossed a bridge and ate at a picnic bench beside the site of numerous frogs peeping and mating along the bank. As we walked back, we stopped to lay in the grass, staring skyward as birds flitted in the blooming trees at the edge of the field. Robins, mostly. Then we both noticed an oriole. I had just remarked that I would like to see an oriole. Funny, that.
